Ocean Africa Container Lines (Pty) Limited is a joint venture between Safmarine Container Lines NV (Safmarine) and Grindrod Limited. The company was formally known as Unifeeder. Ocean Africa operates a fleet of modern, purpose built container vessels in the coastal range between Luanda in Angola and Nacala in Mozambique
Ocean Africa caters to a broad scope of container shipping requirements in the region. The company is the market leader in the provision of feeder services to mainline operators in Southern Africa. Using a dedicated fleet of containers the company also services the international transport requirements of importers and exporters. Combining the efficiency and superior capacity of container shipping along the South African coast with specialised cartage, warehousing and distribution facilities Ocean Africa serves the domestic distribution needs of a variety of blue chip clients in South Africa and Namibia.
West Coast Service
The West Coast service offers weekly, named day sailings between Durban and Luanda calling in all major ports in South Africa, Namibia and Angola.
East Coast Service
The East Coast service operates weekly, named day sailings between Durban, Maputo, Beira and Nacala.
Mozline
A Mozambican registered company in which Ocean Africa holds a 75% equity stake. Mozline also caters to cabotage requirements between all significant Mozambican ports.
