Ocean Africa Container Lines (OACL) is a joint venture between Grindrod Limited and Safmarine, operating a service in the southern African region between Nacala on the East coast and Luanda on the West coast, including the neighbouring landlocked countries. Ocean Africa provides a feeder service to mainline carriers from around the world, carries regional and commercial cargo, providing southern African customers with a complete freight logistics service including warehousing, distribution and inland transportation.
OACL has acquired a 75% shareholding in Mozline, a Mozambican domiciled container shipping line based in Maputo and operating in all major ports in Mozambique.
