In Port Bunker division
This division operates in the port of Durban under contract to oil majors Shell, BP and Engen, and in Cape Town under contract to Chevron. They service the shipping industry with three of the most modern bunker tankers afloat in the world today – all capable of carrying approximately 4500 tons of product (HFO / Gas Oil / Diesel) separately segregated. Featuring double hulls, redundant propulsion systems, closed loading and radar cargo measurement, these bunker tankers have been designed and built to meet and exceed all the oil majors’ safety and operational requirements. They are staffed by qualified and experienced seafarers who provide a world class service to Unical’s customers. This company is well positioned to grow with the southern African regional economy.
Coastal shipping division
Unical’s coastal shipping division operates product tankers along the southern African coastline under contract to Shell, Engen, Chevron, Sasol and Total. The high quality vessels embody the latest safety and environmental protection characteristics with special features designed to ensure reliable service along South Africa’s notoriously demanding seaboard.
